We provide statutory audit services in compliance with relevant International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Auditing Standards (IAS) promulgated by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) in force at the time of audit.We also ensure that the business is operating in compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.The areas of focusin the course of statutory audit include the following:
- Confirming accuracy and validity of financial transactions.
- Confirming accountability in use of the business resources.
- Performing appraisal of internal control systems and procedures and recommending corrective measures where necessary
- Assessing the effectiveness of ICT infrastructure and proposing areas of improvement.
- Identifying areas of wastage, inefficiencies and financial indiscipline for corrective action.
- Identifying existing andprobable risks and recommending mitigation measures.
- Performing special investigations with respect to suspect fraud and financial malfeasance.
- Verification of assets and liabilities of the business.
- Presentation of audit reports at client Annual General Meetings.
